The Judicial Council of the United Methodist Church met last week to review their Fall Docket and has released their decisions related to those agenda items. In the docket was a request for a declaratory decision by the Alabama-West Florida Conference regarding the use of Book of Discipline ¶2549 as a means for local churches to exit the denomination since ¶2553 expired on December 31, 2023.
